I'm still not sure if it was miscommunication or bait-and-switch (FRAUD) but my 18-year-old called the salon and asked for a quote for a cut-and-color... and was quoted $145. Of course, that is a base price and sometimes additional product is used for longer hair (she has shoulder-length hair). But what she was not prepared for was the $217 bill....and she found out that the initial quote was wrong (they forgot to include the cut price) but instead of standing behind the error, the owner was completely belligerent about the whole situation, reducing her to tears. A great salon is about more than the cuts. It's about customer service and obviously Fringe does not care about the latter.
