Update: I hate to change my review but after really examining my hair, I’m not happy with the results at all. Me and Teel spoke about adding locs into... my hair that he already had. But I took my hair down and I can see how they really look and they are filthy. They have lint, dandruff, and we’re NOT cleaned at all even though he assured me he would deep clean them. We also spoke about him fixing other locs that I have that were thinning and as I look over them, they were NOT fixed at all. Which is what I paid for. I also paid to have them colored black but he kept them the same color even though it was agreed upon and it was in the price I paid for. I’m so so so disappointed with this outcome because he does work quick but the care isn’t being put into his work. I even regret tipping him if I knew it would be like this. My entire head of locs has dandruff now because of the ones he attached and I have NEVER had dandruff before. I planned on coming back but I’ll now have to find a new stylist, take out the old and dirty locs he installed and figure out what to do next to undo the damage. I even brought bits and pieces of my own locs and he barely used them or opted to use the dirty ones instead. I am just so extremely frustrated that I paid the amount of money I did to now be back at square one. Like I said, he’s nice and fast but you get what you pay for. I would recommend going somewhere else if you actually care about the health and longevity of your hair care. If you don’t mind a quick wash and retwist then sure come here but it’s not what I was expecting at all. The style was cute but also didn’t last long either. My edges and kitchen in the back weren’t even twisted tightly enough to last long. I only had the style for two weeks and it looked like I had it for a month because it wasn’t properly blow dried or set. I left with my hair still damp/wet. I’m just all around disappointed with the results and definitely won’t be retuning or recommending anybody to come here. Show more

Good evening, First of all, I want to apologize that you were not satisfied with your service. I believe I did my best given that your hair was very damaged from previous styling. We discussed the breakdown of the service and the expected outcome of the repair. I see that your last appointment with me was on April 19. If you had experienced any issues, I would have welcomed you back to address them. I would have gladly corrected, fixed, and repaired anything , FREE of charge.  It only takes one conversation with me to address the situation and I would have fixed it right then and there . And you said you seen built up and dandruff in the weeks that passed you could’ve contacted me and I could’ve fixed it or something to satisfy you. I strongly believe in the importance of communication and am fully committed to my business. If you have any issues or concerns regarding my service, I’m more than willing to sit down and discuss them with you. I apologize that your experience was not satisfactory. I’ve been growing my hair for 10 yrs plus. This was the best 2 strand twist I ever got and the quickest. The parts are precise and he worked out where... I had shorter dreads in the front on my head..he’s friendly and efficient at the same time! When you leave u get a spray of fancy cologne of your choosing which put the icing on the cake. Not to mention the shop has a bartender on certain days. You cannot and will not go wrong choosing Teel especially if you need your beard cut the same day. Prices are solid too. Don’t cheat yourself by not giving him a try if you’re considering. I’ll definitely be back as soon as I need it. Show more
