I recently had an unpleasant experience with a manicurist named Fernanda that left me disappointed and frustrated. During my appointment, I took a pho...ne call, which I made sure to handle in a way that wouldn't interfere with the manicure—I didn't even use my hands to hold the phone. Despite my efforts, I accidentally moved my hands a few times while she was working on my nails. I understand that it can be frustrating when a client unintentionally disrupts your work, and I acknowledged this by verbally apologizing. However, Fernanda’s reaction was far from professional. Throughout the session, she kept rolling her eyes and audibly huffing and puffing, clearly showing her annoyance. Even after I apologized, she responded with attitude rather than understanding. In customer service, maintaining composure is key, even in frustrating situations. Fernanda’s behavior was not only unprofessional but also made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. A little patience and grace could have turned this experience around, but unfortunately, it left a negative impression instead. She also rubbed oil all over my hands instead of only my cuticles. In all the years that I’ve gotten my nails done, nobody rubs oil all over my hands. Never again will I be coming back. Show more

Stephany thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We understand you had an uncomfortable experience with your nail tech on Friday. She asked you many times to keep your hands still and you constantly kept moving making her job very difficult. What we need clients to understand is that it is very challenging for us to do a neat and clean job if the client is constantly moving their hands. Your hands is what the nail tech is working with. If client keeps moving their hands the gel moves which can result in overflowing of product over the cuticle plus other curing issues. We advise you next time you get a manicure take headphones with you so your hands are free and nail tech can easily work on your nails. We wish you the best on your nail journey! EPOCH TEAM
