I enjoyed getting my hair braided by Shaq. I came to the shop after 6 months of not taking care of my hair and Shaq brought my hair back to life!!!!. She did a phenomenal job. I went from looking like Celie from the color purple to a baddie. I am ver...y tender headed as result my pain tolerance is very high. Shaq was very gentle and handled my hair with care. She made sure to check on me every so often to see if she was braiding my hair too tight and I appreciated that so much because it showed me that she cared about me and my edges. I am very pleased with the service. The atmosphere was welcoming and I will definitely be going back again soon.

We got started just a tad after scheduled time but BABY the quality of work and atmosphere made up for the minutes. Shaquwanda and Anthony were both pleasant and friendly. The love they have for each other gives the space an extra positive vibe. Sche...duling and pricing was easy to access through Booksy which was great. I enjoyed my time in the chair. I would and already have referred to Rootz. I will be returning for a touch up and to possibly get some tree braids 😉.
