I can't wait to come back. Latasha is fun, professional and works fast. The shop is beautiful and clean. I was impressed before I took off my coat.... I got a sew-in during this appointment. I really appreciated Tasha’s professionalism and taking the time to explain certain things about my hair and treatment plan. I love that I walked out of there, wearing my real hair out (after not having done so in a few years due to medication causing issues for my hair) and feeling confident and looking amazing! Wow! I have been looking for a salon for the past 5 years or since I moved to Philly and finally found my salon! The owner did my hair! I have thick ...long natural hair and did thank them but 2 hours. The shampoo was fantastic she did an amazing job then I did silk press with trim and all I have to say my hair never felt this silky and bone straight in long time! The please is beautiful and clean. Hello Ms. Latasha I’m writing to you as repeat client at your salon and I recently came for a service to bleach my hair blonde. Kindly know that I ha...ve booked at your salon for silk presses at least twice in past years and each time I was nothing but satisfied with the service. Unfortunately this time I found myself unhappy with my results and the experience as my scalp burned due to the bleach. I recall you asking if I had washed my hair and I assure you that I did not, as this is not my first time dying my hair and I’m familiar with the process; last time I had washed my hair was 10 days before my scheduled appointment. Unfortunately over the course of the last two weeks I’ve been finding scabs of burned scalp in my head and I’m experiencing itchy scalp. Furthermore I’ve notice that the back of my head and other parts are uneven with the color. I also remember you telling me not to scratch my head however the pain from the burning was all to excruciating to leave alone. I understand that you offered me to come back to redo the treatment at $75 however the cost of original treatment plus a new treatment would place my overall total at $200, a price that would likely get me a hairstyle such as box braids or even a sew in at your hair salon according to your page. I now find myself getting ready to head back to school and am barely confident enough walk outside without a hat on my head. With this in mind, I’m kindly wondering if any thing can be done to rectify the situation whether it be a refund or a partial refund. I’d also like to note that the prices reflected on your website do not match the price that I was told in person, and while you made me aware of this, I reluctantly continued with the appointment as I had traveled quite a distance to get to your salon and made arrangements at work to be able to get my hair done, therefore leaving without a service would have not only been a waste of time but a waste of money. I hope to hear back from you regarding this matter. Please know that your salon has been nothing but wonderful for me however this past experience left me dissatisfied and disappointed hence my message to you. With kindness, Show more

I had a good experience at chocolate city. The stylist Tasha was very understanding with me. I wanted a certain style and we was uncertain. if I could... get it . Long story short we did the style I originally wanted and I wasn’t satisfied and Tasha done a whole different style on me with no problem. I was satisfied with the new style.
