I found this salon for my maternity shoot and booked the formal style that was described as a consult, cleanse, prep, set, shape, and style. I arrived... 7 minutes late and a client was still in the chair. No biggie. A few minutes later when I get called to sit, I was asked if I washed my hair. My answer was no because the description in the service I booked said “cleanse”. I was confused as to why I was told he wouldn’t be able to set my hair now because he had to wash my hair. I informed him my photo shoot wasn’t for another 6 hours and my make up still needed to be done. He said he would spray a lot of hair spray and place a shower cap on my head and the the curls should be fine for my pictures. After he was done, he placed 2 shower caps on my head and said to just brush the curls out when it’s time for my pictures. By the time he was done I had 4 more hours until my photo shoot. By the time I got to the studio for pictures, my hair was frizzy and the curls were gone. Looked like I slept on my hair and had it styled from the day before. I was so disappointed because there was ample opportunity for him to tell me to come wash and dried as he texted me asking for inspo at the time I booked earlier that week. My hair was a hot frizzy mess for my special occasion. The description of this service needs to be updated. Communication needs to be better. Show more
