  The bride will have one hour of mock updos and styles. Is welcome to bring her team with her. Take pictures of different styles. Feel free to bring anything from veil, earrings, Barrettes, pins, etc. If the bride requests her trial to extend past the hour, and stylist has availability past requested time... $20 per every 30 minutes will be added. Trial time starts on the appointment start time. If client arrives late, missed minutes won’t be added on to total 1 hour. Nor trial price decreased.

About us

2022 will be my 22nd years in this business. I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up since the age of 9. I always loved making people feel better about themselves or just put a smile on their face even when times were tough in their lives. During school, I was fortunate enough to reception at a salon that I grew up going too. I started at the bottom answering phones, sweeping hair and maintaining the sanitation and cleanliness of the salon. I learned from watching the stylists that I worked for. I highly recommend observing the trade you chose. I am honored to say that I have learned so many techniques from watching my peer stylists. When my daughter was almost a year old, I found myself struggling with juggling being a single mom and managing a salon. I made the decision to take a risk and be an independent Contractor at a reputable local salon. Though I was scared, I had a lot of support from family, friends and my new fellow contractors. Life is full of what if’s, but taking risks will make you learn a lot about yourself and what you are built to do with your life. I took advantage of opportunities that lasted 3 years and another 1 1/2 years. Each time, I found my way back “home” They say “Third” time is a charm! The past two years, us all living this “new” life of Covid, has been the most challenging for everyone… especially myself. The last opportunity/ risk I took was during Covid. I took over ownership of a salon that had an upstanding reputation in a small town. Though I committed 100% of my blood, sweat and tears… Covid and its negative effect never let up. As well as the physical, mental and emotional stress that I didn’t realize took over me. Unfortunately, my Rheumatoid Arthritis escalated from moderate to severe. I missed out on a lot of things with my family, especially my children. I realized that I was losing the passion and reasons why I was in this career. Someone simply asked me, “What does Jaime want?” I thought a lot about it. My response to that question is this…. I didn’t become a hairdresser for the money. Of course we all need money, but I never looked at it as a “job.” Having the salon, I was doing hair for the money. To keep a reputable salon going and doing what people thought I SHOULD BE DOING! After thinking long and hard about what I wanted, I knew my answer. I closed the reputable salon- Its reputation proceeds itself whether opened or closed. My family and friends are more important and the time I can spend is priceless! And now, being back home where I am comfortable and excited. I look forward too seeing my colleagues and amazing clientele. As well as meeting new ones and educating people about their hair. I LOVE color, updo’s, cutting and teaching clients how to maintain the look that not just their stylist can do but THEY can do as well. Thank you for taking the time to read about me. Most importantly** TO MY Clientele- Thank you. All the risks and opportunities were all because of you. I am honored to have each one of you and consider you part of my family. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
