I am in Nashville for work related purposes and took time going through portfolios to see who I believed would cut my hair the best. Sure, DeJuan is a... talented barber, but that will only go so far when there is a lack of professionalism and regard for excellent customer service. I set up an appointment for 2:10p and DeJuan, not me, confirmed it. I arrived a little early but did not get into the chair until after 3:30p. He had to cut someone else’s hair after the client’s that ran into my confirmed appointment. Are barbers not aware that people plan their days around appointments? The lack of acknowledgement when my scheduled time came and went rubbed me the wrong way. What’s more is that it is a well known fact amongst his co-workers and regular clients that his costumer service skills - punctuality, professionalism, etc. - are faulty. I understand things happen, but unprofessional patterns should be worked on. I would not recommend this barber unless professionalism begins to appear as a priority. Show more
