had such an amazing experience at Nappy Pleasures with the owner, Denise. As a first-time client and someone newly loc’d, I was honestly a little nerv...ous walking in — but Denise immediately made me feel comfortable and welcomed. The work she did on my locs was absolutely beautiful. She was gentle, precise, and extremely detail-oriented. You can tell she truly cares about the health of your hair, not just the style. My locs look clean, neat, and refreshed. Denise was extremely knowledgeable about loc maintenance. She took the time to educate me on proper care, and long-term maintenance tips to keep my locs healthy and thriving. I left not only looking good but feeling informed and confident about my loc journey. On top of her skill, Denise is simply a pleasure to be around. The conversation flowed naturally, the vibe was warm and professional, and the whole experience felt uplifting. If you’re newly loc’d or just looking for someone who truly understands natural hair and loc care, I highly recommend Nappy Pleasures.
