Jay is it. If you want a great barber, Jay is the guy. I’ve gotten haircuts all over the U.S. and abroad. For the past 20+ years, I’ve gotten weekly h...aircuts. I have also relocated a lot. In fact, two weeks ago, we relocated to Huntsville. There is always hesitation of trying a new barber. I’ve learned that communication is crucial in two areas of life: 1) Relationships and 2) Barbershops. I can tell within a few strokes of the clippers if I am going to like my haircut. The term “medium skin” fade can be interpreted many ways. You can walk into a dozen barbershops and repeat the same verbiage to each, yet, walk out of each with a different haircut. My measure of a good barber is the one that can distinguish the difference between styles, as well as, being able to implement or create said style. Jay told me right off the bat he is good. After my haircut, I told him he was good. This guy is solid… man tested, solider approved! Show more

Because we move so much, you’re always in search of “the barber.” Jay is “The Barber.” Profession...al, supremely talented, a terrific conversationalist, hard-working, and committed to the customer. I’ve been fortunate enough to be stationed at Redstone for 4 1/2 years and have always had Jay - either at the PX, or in his shop.
