She is a decent & educated person and is able to converse with a client. I do recommend going with your hair detangled and in four braids so you don’t... surpass your service time that does lead to a charge of $45 (don’t go late either!) for silk presses. If you’re getting a silk press for the first time in a while I would recommend dominicans as they have different techniques so your hair won’t look like a blow out upon leaving her chair. Just don’t go too often to avoid scares. After that I definitely would say she’s got enough to make you love your hair and have it last. The service of the salon was okay and I hope you enjoy her service as well :). All photos are from day of. She was nice.... but my hair did not look like it was done. I paid to get my hair pressed, but my hair looked blow dried. I appreciated her kindness a...nd her effort but my hair did not look like it was pressed (especially as the day went on) so I shouldn't have paid the full price of the appointment. I spent over $100 and did not get a discount for the inconvenience. I did tell her that I liked it at first, but after I left the salon my hair got WORSE. I shouldn't have walked out like that, and I should've gotten a discount. I now have to figure out what I'm going to do to fix my hair before my trip which I'm not happy about. Hey, So I let you know before the service was done that due to the fact that you hadn't had a silk press in 6 years and you were NOT keeping up with consistent hair care, your hair was reverting due to the lack of moisture . I blow dried your hair on high heat AND flat ironed it twice. Well maintained hair takes TIME and CONSISTENCY. It cannot be fixed with one appointment after not getting your hair done for years. I hope this perspective helps. Be blessed!
