My son really researched where in town he could get a taper, and chose Lavish Cuts. Swift really took his time in cutting my son's hair, clipping up t...he long parts in order to get to the back and sides. He spent a lot of time making the back and sides perfect, then used comb and clippers to cut the longer hair on top. He asked for my son's input during the cut. Our only complaint is that the front was a little shorter than my son requested BUT we realized my son may not have been clear. It will grow out a bit and my son knows to be clearer next time. And there will be a next time, as we are really happy. We really appreciated the time and effort that went into making the cut perfect. Swift was friendly and welcoming. We had an appointment and my son walked straight to his chair with no waiting. I definitely recommend making an appointment, as all the barbers stayed busy. Making an appointment through the website and Booksy is really easy, and the website gives clear pictures and information about each barber, so clients know what they look like (helped me recognize Swift without having been there before, and helped me choose the right barber for what my son wanted). The atmosphere of the shop is just what I would expect- professional but friendly and casual. We felt welcomed. And the shop looks great! Very spacious, open, and not cluttered or crowded. I love the look. That doesn't impact the haircut but it certainly helps the atmosphere. Overall, my son wants to return to Lavish Cuts and Swift for his haircuts. I thought the price point competitive and reasonable, and from my observation, all of these barbers know their stuff. Swift and Lavish Cuts definitely have a new client in my 14 year old. Show more

We will not be back. Not only was it not communicated that our appointment would be handled by another barber. We sat there waiting over an hour and a... half to be taken care of. On top of waiting, I was told my son complained about it hurting. When I left in the car and drove down the street, I noticed all these nicks and small cuts on him from what seems like old blades that were used. So him speaking up was justified. The lack of professionalism is what has made my decision. It was a rushed job and not what was fully asked for. Show more
