Scheduled an appointment for Monday, today, January 1st at 10:00am. Paid a deposit of $51.00. Showed up at shop, just to have no one at the shop. Call...ed the shops number, no answer. I sent multiple texts asking, where exactly the shop was, and confirming that I was at the correct location…on lane Ave S.. ste 101. No response. Still at 12:14 as I’m typing this review, no response. I understand it’s New Year’s Day, but if a hairstylist has a open spot on their appointment app, for that particular day, and it has been booked and paid for, I feel it should it STILL should be honered. If not, it should have been blocked off, before hand, or very least…at the minimum, respond back to the client and cancel appointment and return deposit. I’m just very upset, and I understand what the other person said when she had a similar experience, very upsetting, and waste of time and money, not to mention, just very unprofessional. Update to post….. I absolutely love Ms. Taylor.. and I apologize for portraying a negative image. I was just upset because this was 2nd appt I had to reschedule for this day! But this is my new hair stylist… no doubt… I love her and her work is impeccable!!! Please guys do NOT HESITATE to make an appointment with Taylor!!!! She’ll def get you RIGHT!!!! I believe it was still a blessing for me. Sh** happens, but I love the way she handled the situation!! Unlike other stylist on Instagram. No names shall I mention. I contacted Miss D after as soon as I saw her messages via instagram as I had no calls from her. We resolved what was a miscommunication being that no unit was dropped of prior to this appointment. I have done her hair that she loved and also serviced two separate wigs for her with my wig polishing service. She’s a wonderful client with a great spirit. If there is ever a problem I promise to make sure it’s corrected.

Had an appointment on 6/23/23 at 5:45. Received an text from Taylor an hour or so before the I appointment,she texted me to cancel. I then told her if... she was unable to commit to the appointment on Saturday or Monday, to please advise and I will kindly just book at a later time. I also asked nicely and appropriately for my deposit back, off of the strength that she cancelled on me. I have expressed that I have spent over $100 in hair that is a loss because the appointment was a no go. I reached back out to Taylor on Saturday, no response whatsoever. I am extremely nice, understanding, and easy to get along with. So although she canceled, I was understanding. What I don’t understand is how many stylist have these “rules” etc etc but don’t hold up their end of the deal. And also don’t care to communicate or make things right when their at fault. Extremely unprofessional. This is a true and unbiased review. I am a new client, and was handled in an distasteful matter. So not only is this an honest review, but also an alert to new clients as well who may consider booking. Show more
