Braids are very neat and nice! — which I would hope for the price. I booked for knotless braids which are advertised for 5 hours. Appt was scheduled 9...-2. I was there until 6 o’clock pm, 9 hours total. Times can vary, I understand that, but expecting a 5 hour appt and being there an extra 4 hours is not okay. Site should be updated with more accurate braid times and with the work of the other braider who is in the shop. I came with the expectations of being braided by Kristelle whose work is what I based my booking off of, only to get there to someone else whose work I hadn’t seen and wasn’t advised of. Nothing is wrong with having braiders in your shop but at least have their work on your site and let it be known that they will be doing the clients hair, because if I would’ve know I was going to be there from 9-6 and with someone other than Kristelle doing my hair I would’ve looked elsewhere. Braider was nice nothing against her but it’s the little things that can be improved. Show more

NEW CLIENT - I booked an appt for Small Knotless Braids MIDBACK at 2p with Kristelle. The day before, I received a text asking if I could come earlier... at 9:30a for my appt. I agreed to it. The morning of, I received a text to come at 10a. No prob. When I arrived, I was not aware that the person that would be doing my hair was not Kristelle. It wasn't apparent until Kristelle arrived at the suite hours later. We finally started on my hair at about 10:30a. I was asked if I had plans after my appt. I did not, but jokingly let the lady know that I did not want to be in the salon until 5pm - which I thought was a reasonable expectation. Unfortunately, I was not done with my appt until 7PM which was EXTREMELY disappointing. I have not sat in a chair for 8.5hrs for knotless or any type of braids in over 20 years. The website says this style would take 5hrs. If that was not the case, the website should've been updated to set the expectations. Lastly, my hair. Parts are neat, but the braids are tiny. I will take accountability that I should have looked at the size and said something after the first few braids were installed. But, the braids are smaller than the pictured example on the booking site. Last, better communication is needed if a style may take longer than listed or the website needs to be updated. Also, if Kristelle will not be the primary braider, that should be communicated as well. It is not apparent on the booking site or the Instagram page that someone else may be doing your hair. Transparency and clarity will help set the expectations for new and existing clients. Show more

My experience with Kristelle was 10/10. ...The braids I got exceeded my expectations, & even when tired, she didn’t get lazy with her work.
