My hair experience was beyond my expectations kristelke n her colleague was very respectful very funny i laugh the entire time they have such an amazi...ng vibe let’s get into the hair I got the boho knotless braids n mid back wanted it very full but it came out even better than the pictures.this is the first hair experience i ever had that my hair came out perfect n exactly how o wanted it it took hours but it was worth she is the best hairstylist in Jacksonville hands down. I highly recommend Kristelle and I will be a returning client! I booked smedium boho braids with curls on the ends and extra curls added throughout th...e style. I wanted my length longer than shoulder but shorter than mid-back, but those were listed on her booking site. When I arrived we discussed my preferences. Kristelle was extremely accommodating, gracious and professional. She allowed me to adjust the length to my preference, she let me explain how much curly hair I wanted added and where, and she told me how much the price difference would be upfront. We discussed it together and agreed on everything before she started. The entire experience was pleasant and professional. She braided my hair perfectly! It is neat, beautifully done, no tension, no pulling, not heavy, and looks even better than I imagined. I've gotten compliments by everyone who's seen it. I am constantly referring people to her Instagram for this style now. Her suite was nice and comfortable, her personality was down to earth, humble, friendly and kind. She was knowledgeable, professional and again VERY accommodating! 10/10 experience! Her booking site is very detailed as well. Small Knotless Braids

Upon booking I ensured that Kristelle would be able to braid my hair. I requested small knotless braids that are midback with curls at the end. As she...’s braiding she mentions that my hair is short so she’s adding hair in the beginning and I was ok with that but as the work went she was actually just doing traditional box braids and not knotless braids. I would’ve appreciated if she was just honest and said she can’t do it I would’ve took my money and time elsewhere. The quality of work the was done I’m not impressed with. To top it off she still requested that u pay for small knotless midback instead of small box braids. The quality of of work and pay DOES NOT MATCH. Show more

Hi Shawna, you did get knotless throughout the whole head as you can see and before proceeding in the front i asked you first are you ok if I grip it with extensions because your natural hair is 1 inch long but I still managed to grip it. If you were not ok with me griping it with extension why did you say yes? And as far of the price I strongly recommended you to read upon booking and while finishing your hair you rushed me because you had to pick up someone! When I was done you looked in the mirror and say yes I love my hair and rushed off. Even though I made sure I was able to accommodate everything you have asked me to do on my day off with no charge. I thought id make you happy but it didn’t go as planned and im truly sorry for not making you like your hair and wish you had say something or even text me to tell me all this! Again im sorry!
SMedium knotless Braids

When I arrived at the salon, it wasn’t even Kristelle there to do my hair, which is who I was expecting. Instead, it was these two other women who wer...e otherwise okay and did a good job but I would’ve appreciated some kind of heads up. Also, my appointment was for SMedium knotless, and I ended up with small knotless, which cost me about 30 dollars more and I was in there for at least an extra 3-4 hours. I do like my hair, but a little better communication wouldve been preferred 😅 Reply: I never said I didn’t like it. I do, but it’s not what I requested. If the braiding hair’s texture wasn’t compatible with the size I wanted then that’s fine, I understand. My point is that I would’ve appreciated it if I was told exactly who was doing my hair, how much longer I would be in the shop, and the apparent fact that the size I wanted wasn’t compatible with the hair I brought. And I didn’t want “big braids”, I wanted the Smedium. It’s not you working alone that was the issue, it was the fact that on booksy it says the person who’d be doing my hair was Elle, so that’s who I was expecting. Also, I told you over the phone that it was “exactly what I wanted” for the sake of not being a difficult customer. To reiterate, I do like it, I just would’ve appreciated better communication. Hello Courtney! I’m sorry about the misunderstanding but when I spoke to you, you told me you loved your hair so I’m confused now! And also I do not work alone due to the amount of clients I have! And the type of hair you brought which was the French extensions hair it just wouldn’t be easy to do big braids with it due to the texture of the hair. The price was exactly was I told you before you came and I also do have all my price breakdown on my website so there won't be no misleading and I talked to you via Instagram where I explained everything again so I’m confused on why you feeling this way now. After your service I called you to asked when how everything went and I asked hey Courtney is it exactly what you asked for and you said yes it's exactly what I asked for and you laughed. So why the negative review? But I’m sorry about your experience

Medium knotless Braids

First experience at this shop. My appt was 9:30. Braiders showed up at 10:20. I thought I was getting my hair done by Kristelle but turns out to be so...meone else whose work I’ve never seen. I stayed because I literally had no other options. I’m new to FL and can’t seem to find a reliable braider. I got what I thought was medium knotless braids but they look more small. They’re just ok. Nothing special. My middle part isn’t straight. The braids feel stiff. The worst thing about my whole experience was that I was in that shop from 10:20 until 7:30pm. Literally my whole day. That’s unacceptable. And I was charged $20 more than I was quoted via text. Super disappointing. Shop was nice that’s about all I can say. To reply back to the owners comments: it might be proactive to let people know they might be serviced by someone else other than the person whose work is shown. Also there was no mirror near me for me to see the work. I just trusted when I asked for medium braids that would be what I’d get. Show more
