The staff were super friendly.. I absolutely loved the char massage I had with my wash. But that was the highlight of my experience. I came in for a ...cut and color on natural hair. The owner recommended a biolage color on my hair so it would be less damaging, and a cut that would frame my face. Everything sounded good but the end result was not good. The color was ok but my cut was not defined. It has no shape. I have to now go to someone else to give me shape to my cut. My hair also was not styled when I left. My hair is natural so needs products in it to be styled.. I chose this place because of the reviews and I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for but I must say that wasn’t the case here! I was hoping that this would be a place that I could go to achieve my hair goals. I’m so disappointed. Show more

I have found my new salon home! It is the perfect environment for me - not crowded/ overbooked, cozy, soft music, complimentary water, lively conversa...tion... the vibe is everything it needs to be. Asia was as gentle as can be with my locs and knowledgeable. Her calm demeanor allowed me to totally relax in the chair. Oh, and she was on point when it came to recommending the in-house products. I'm considering the shampoo and conditioner she used on me AND getting a color consult. And I have to mention Colleen with her exuberant self. She added that pinch of loveliness that took the whole experience next level. I really felt like I was amongst friends even though it was my first time. While the service was great, I did NOT get what I asked for. I went in for a silk press, but what I got was closer to a really good blow out. It was i...ncredibly stiff and puffy from day 1. This was my second silk press at the salon and the quality between the first and second press was miles apart. I was burned during my first visit, but the silk press came out nicely, and lasted me almost an entire month, so I'm really disappointed that I can't say the same for this second visit. Show more
