Very disappointed with this visit. I had a 9:30 am appointment with my son. We arrived early and the barber with whom we scheduled with was behind a...nd sent us to an alternate chair. The cuts took entirely too long. It should not take more than an hour to cut a 6 year old bald fade. It was not low enough and the fade was "average." But it had already been an hour and I was ready to go. I was next in the chair...and after another hour...was not impressed with the quality. Came in with a small afro (was much larger, but a barber in the shop two weeks ago had already taken way too much off...). But the barber yesterday made it worse. I have to wait at least a month for my hair to replenish. Especially in the back, as the taper is way too high. The barber is the youngest in the shop, and does not understand how to cut a "mature" afro. I am 54 years old and he made me look like a young thug. My wife was upset upon our return home, and my adult daughter could not stop giggling. The price is decent at $25, but it is almost worth the $45 I see other barbers charging to ensure I get the right cut. And the shop definitely could use some updating. Ceiling tiles are in disrepair, lots of clutter, stations are not tidy, and the artwork is "tired," the entire place needs a makeover. Lots of money is being made at this shop, evidenced by the many people that were waiting. But some of that money needs to be reinvested in the business. And they need a number system. There is too much confusion on who came in before whom, and who 'got next.' Show more

Fade ‘M UP Barbershop is fabulous! All of the barbers are great! However, I am one of the guys that stick to one barber. Owner/barber, Will is my p...rimary barber, and he is excellent! Will is an old-school barber that has military-style attention to detail. He takes his time and still uses scissors to clean those straggler strands of hair. Will is my fourth barber in twenty-three years and is the best of all. I tip him well because his reputation is behind his haircuts. Show more
