King the Barber

So I’m sure everybody has had a bad barber experience. The barber rushes and by doing so messes up, cuts too much off or worst, pulls your lining back too far “alien head”. King is the opposite. From the moment you sit in his barber chair, you know... that being a barber is not something he does, it’s who he is, it’s his passion. When it came time to take a look in the mirror... He said to me and I quote, I’m not just here for the quick dollar, I want you to be happy, I want you to come back, so please let me know if you need me to further modify your cut. His rule: You can always take more off, but when it’s off, you can’t put it back on. In other words he takes his time, doesn’t rush you out of his chair, and allows you to guide your cut as the client. Set another way, he is client centered versus Barber centered. Cutting hair is an art, not just a service. My barber recommended kings to me before he moved to Texas. So not only does King have my respect, he also has the respect of other skilled barbers as well. As a business owner of 14 years myself, having respect from your previous colleagues is saying a lot. So much so that they entrust their clients to you. I am definitely a fan of king and I will be coming back. I hope this review helps you make a good decision for yourself and your look.
