I had a gel-x set here this week. My tech was so sweet and I enjoyed talking to her! But I must say because I don’t think she was experienced with the... gel-x application my nails turned out less that stellar. There was no nail prep for my natural nails. My cuticles are still very messy. I’m pretty familiar with the system and I noticed a few steps were skipped. No primer, no dehydration. My nails aren’t even flush to the cuticle (something I pointed out) and already look grown out two days later. The shape is also uneven. I do like the nail art however. I normally wouldn’t leave a review but I believe in constructive criticism and room for improvement. Based on my experience I would not come back but it’s my hope that services are taken off the menu until the service can be provided properly because I paid as much as I would for a well done job!
