My story starts with a nail nightmare that ends with Connie and her team saving me from having to live with horrific nails. I had gone to another nail... salon for my first ever set of gel tips. The experience was absurd: it took 3.5 hours, the shape was a boxy square instead of the requested coffin, the gel was thick and lumpy and the color was uneven. Oh and the best part: the color was popping off and tips were cracking off by day 4-5. Did I mention I was sitting there for so long that my lower back was covered in bruises by the end from the chair the salon sat me in? Yeah, it felt like a hostage situation. Anyway, after sharing this story with my coworker, she recommended I try Colour Connie instead, so I immediately booked an appointment. Connie took one look at my nails and said "I don't like them either, you came to the right place." Lo and behold, as she is removing the monstrosity I had gotten the week prior, she tells me that apparently the salon I had went to initially didn't even give me UV gel I had requested! They did some weird acrylic tip hybrid with extra sculpting gel on top?? (Evidence I don't treat myself to nail services often enough to recognize what I was supposed to be getting!) Fast forward, she sends me to one of her manicurists and tells her what I am looking for and WOW!!! They came out absolutely stunning and better than I could imagine (AND I didn't need to sit there for 3.5 hours!) So thankful to and pleased with Connie and her team, well worth the price and will happily return for my gel fill-in! Show more

Just did the work looked really good but shortly after the gel started to rise and as a result the water ended up between the gel and the nail that be...ing always wet could cause me a rotten nail and I could catch a fungus. as a result the gel is removed also tearing my real nail. Finally, one thing I didn’t like at all is that the girl who did my nails forced me to tip her even before I could give it to her willingly. Delusion 😤 Show more
