The good Let me start by saying he is a really good barber. The place is clean and there is plenty of space. The bad He doesn’t respect your time.... Appointments are rarely kept. Someone will always be in the chair when it’s your appointed time slot. Even if you were the first appointment. The ugly He does this all the time. It’s always ‘I’m gonna do this guy real quick’. 40 minutes past your appointment you’re still waiting. If your time isn’t valuable to you, then he is your guy cause he can cut hair. This review has been a long time coming. I hope patrons realize that just because a barber is good, doesn’t mean he can treat you like crap. There are... plenty of barbers out there who will cut your hair well and respect your time/money. I’ve gotten cuts from Tito for 5 years now and over that span I’ve often asked myself “what fuckery will I have to put up with for a decent haircut today?” He’s repeatedly no call/no showed for cuts scheduled before noon, leaving me outside the shop waiting for him, he’s squeezed friends in ahead of me making me wait an hour+ past my appointment time, drank aggressively while cutting patrons, one time he even left me in the barbershop by myself with my cut 50% done and went to drive his cousin somewhere. Recently, it’s the lack of gloves when cutting and him canceling appointments made after 630p an hour before the start time that’s really pushed the limits. He’s talented with the clippers, but on some occasions, the service often leaves me wondering if the juice is worth the squeeze. Today I got my answer. My friends and family would tell me I’m a fool for still going to Tito, but I didn’t want to go through the trouble of having to find a new barber. I’ve tried other shops close to home and the other cuts didn’t really stack up. Last week when my appointment was canceled last minute I left a poor review for Tito, hoping to bring some accountability into this business relationship. I also stated that I’d continue to document my experience after each appointment. When I arrived today Tito greeted me with harsh words, called me a bozo for leaving one negative review after years of sometimes good service/mostly bad service, and told me that he wasn’t cutting my hair. It was odd seeing a grown man getting that emotional especially when I’ve had 1:1 conversations with him about my dissatisfaction with the service, but I guess the truth hurts when it’s on display? Lesson learned for me. Show more
