I had a great first experience with Meshia. The one negative thing I experienced was not seeing how to change my appointment via the App. Fortunatel...y I found Meshia’s phone number and she changed my appointment time for me. Meshia was present and ready for me at my appointment time. She was pleasant from beginning to end. She gave some guidance on things I should/shouldn’t do when doing my hair myself. She did not make me feel like she was rushing. She suggested some things/services I should try on future visits. I have been looking for a stylist and I can see myself utilizing Meshia again. I made e my appointment for a silk press the day before Thanksgiving with Meisha. She called me the next morning asking if I could come in earlier, an...d due to work, I was unable to do so. I get to my appointment 15 minutes early and she has another appt booked at the same time as me, reason being that she assumed the other client was going to be late and then she proceeded to insinuate that it was my fault because I did not come in sooner. After 3 hours, she starts on my hair and is going on about how hungry she is and how she cannot wait to leave, all while combing my hair out very roughly, to the point where my ends were rough and puffy when the silk press was finished. I told her I wanted my mom to trim my hair because it is a way we bond, and she coerced me into letting her do it. She cut off more than I wanted and I am very upset. After everything is finished, she says she won't charge me for the deep condition (that I did not ask for but she made me do because she had another client at the same time as me), but that I had to pay for the trim which she did not tell me would cost anything and that I did not want her to do in the first place. She's a great conversationalist, and my silk press came out very nice, but too much went wrong during this appointment for me to disregard that. Show more
