HIGHLY UNSATISFIED AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND (See photo). Was visiting Columbia from DC, so this is a very unbaised honest review. I'm not related to th...e barber in any way (which it seems most if not all of the reviewers are). The address listed on google maps is wrong, but I still got charged a late fee. Google "GodBody CUTs". Mind you the address takes you to the guy's old barbershop. I literally could've just gotten a cut there, but decided to honor my commitment and drove an extra 30 minutes out the way. I called and explained this, and he was fine with me moving the appointment. No acknowledgement of the google address error or of the fact that I was actually on time for the appointment at the address listed on google. He would've made nothing had I just flat out canceled. Paid $55 (more than I pay in DC which is a much more expensive city) for a line up that was no where near worth that much. Money isn't an issue for me thank God, but the price for the quality of the cut is. Did not have time at all to even negotiate it, so I paid. Would not recommend at all though 👎🏿. I was in a rush to get to my next destination, so I didn't get a chance to really look closely at the cut until I got back to my hotel. Very mediocore job. Extremely mediocore. He didn't even do a full taper around my head like I asked. My mustache is unevely lined up. Basic barber skills. This is terrible. I cut hair myself, and I would've never felt comfortable charging someone $55 for this. Good common sense customer service goes a long way. This barber completely lacks that. I say this all very respectfully. I'm in South Carolina for several weeks and was hoping to find a barber I could come to weekly while here. I tip BIG. He would've made easy consistent money off me for 8 weeks straight. I don't even wanna try another barber out here after this experience. The job done was that bad honesty. I'm unsure if he's even licensed or was ever formally trained on how to cut based off this. Also, none of the pictures in his portfolio are actually from the place he cuts at. Learn from me and go somewhere else please. One of if not the worst cuts (and it was a basic job) I've ever received in my entire life. (He had me cancel my appointment, so I wasn't able to leave a review on booksy at first. Had to book something new to leave my review. This is why the service says something for kids.) Edit: From the barber's response, he clearly doesn't get it 🤦🏿. Just look at the photo. His friends are definitely leaving these reviews. This was my first time going to him, so obviously I was not familiar with the way his services were written (my DC barber just refers to it as a line up because it's so basic and quick what I ask for) and I was not familiar with the google-booksy discrepancy. All obvious things that a quality business man should know how to respond to. Also, as I stated, I really didn't have a chance to look too close at the job done until I got to the hotel because I was genuinely in a rush (100 times? What? The location is also not even a shop. It's a shack in the backyard with ONE mirror). I'm more than fine with paying for something. Money is not an issue. BUT...do a quality job. Look at that photo 🤦🏿. God bless this dude. Show more

1. You was 45 minutes late if actually read before booking it says in the details ( arrival pass 10 mins is a $15 fee ) , my address is on booksy not on google. 2. You booked for LINE UP where you just get your edge lined up , you sat there for a whole 30 minutes and watched me do a line up just for at the end of the service you say “ oh no I meant a temp fade “ 😒 so now I have to do a whole nother service which was the temp fade and still only charged you for being late I could’ve charged you for late fee and switching service . Anybody who been to me knows I have 20 mirrors in my shop you looked in the mirror over 100 times before you left and not once said anything about how your cut looked . The problem is you didn’t think I was going to upcharge you . Please pay attention to what you booking before you do so . I would say I apologize for any inconvenience but you was the one being inconvenient.
