HAVING A BAD DAY? READ THIS, BECAUSE I'M RIGHT THERE WITH YOU. Dianna was 20 minutes late for my appointment that I scheduled a week prior. When I sho...wed up, I called asking which Apartment to go to (Because it wasn't listed on the app), and she said "hold on I'll text it to you". As if it doesn't take 2 GAH DANG seconds to tell me an Apartment number over the phone. Then about 6 minutes rolled by before she actually texted me the Apt number. Afterwards she called me asking to wait 15 minutes outside (Without giving a reason). And then when I was finally able to go into the apartment, the apartment was messy and it wreaked of cigarretes. It wasn't junkyard messy, but it definitely wasn't no chrome hospital. So I'm thinking maybe she was busy with another client, but she wasn't. She said that she was sorry and that the reason she was late was because I cancelled on her in the past....THAT WAS 3.....YEARS AGO. 3 YEARS BEFORE THIS CURRENT APPOINTMENT. And I cancelled because of an emergency. Now at this point I'm thinking, "Hold on, take a breather. She's only human, things happen". After consultation about my hair, she tells me that she doesn't have the blue hair dye I asked for and that we can do it the next time I show up. At this point I'm thinkin "Sure, if there is a next time". Aftererwards she takes me to the kitchen sink to bleach my hair. She had me in a folding chair, with my tail bone hanging on the edge for dear life while having me hold a mini playground slide for my hair to drain into the sink. It was one of the most ghetto hair washes I've ever had. Then she comes up with an idea about my blue hair dye. She said "I can run to the store and get it if you don't mind waiting" And I thought, "Sure. Why not? It seems like I'ma be here all day anyway". Then she says that I can come with her. I thought cool, I'd rather do that than wait outside her apartment. So at this point I'm thinking "Ok, at least she's nice enough to get me what I asked for instead of waiting another month" She said "you don't mind going out looking like that do you?" She had me looking like a gay Jaiden Smith wannabe. I told her "it's fine, I don't care." Because I just want to get my hair done. So we get to her car. I open the passenger door and it was 10x messier than the apartment. I mean there was food in the seat, papers, dirt, grime. It was awful. I was about to change my mind about going. She started clearing the seat. After she finished she said "Alright you're good, get in" There was still a WHOLE orange peel in the friggin seat, along with what appears to be styrofoam and cigarette ash. Fast forwarding to the hair shop. We find the hair dye and she makes the purchase and we head back to her apartment. After hours and hours of working with my hair she finally finishes. All tragedies aside, she did an ok job with my hair. Not the best work I've seen. Some of my dreads are uneven in thickness but nothing too crazy. If you read this review all the way through, I'm sorry that it was so long but I felt the need to share the details of my misery. I hope you at least got a good laugh out of it. Show more
