Small cornrows (1-layer)

Let me start off by saying her work is great and she is a very talented hair stylist. However I do believe she doesn’t have the greatest time manageme...nt when it comes to common folk. I recognize she probably has a lot of High profile clients and obligations that pay the big bucks but that gives no one the right to just discard regular folks at your convenience. So my first appt with Malika she was a few minutes late which was no big deal to me it was a 9am appt, things happen. My second appt with her was on a Wednesday at 5pm the day before thanksgiving. While i was surprised this time slot was available I booked it well in advance at least 2 or three weeks in advance. The day of my appt about 3 hours before i get a text saying she is running behind and if we can push it to 7pm. Ok no worries. Around 5pm i get a message asking to reschedule my appt completely due to the fact that she had fallen ill (the day before thanksgiving) at this point I’m a little irritated but still ok I understand. She rescheduled to Saturday 3pm. So Saturday 2pm I get a message asking to push it to 4pm at this point I’m feeling like my time is not valued as a customer but ok whatever. My third appt with her I booked about a week in advance. The night before my appt I get a message around 11pm informing me that she had misplaced her keys and that she’d hope to get them by the time of my appt. I responded around 6am letting her know to let me know what’s up asap and that I didn’t really have any room to reschedule my appt for another day In which I got a response later saying “So sorry no keys” I asked if she had spare keys or someone that could let her into her cubicle? To which she replied that her spare keys where with the main keys misplaced. At this point I’m extremely frustrated I’m am having to pull information out of her and try to come up with a solution in no ways did she ever try to make this situation right or come up with a solution her self. I was just met with very dry responses. So I ask her what’s the plan? I can’t reschedule and I doubt that I will be able to find someone else to do my hair this last minute (a week before Christmas mind you)to which she responds “idk what I can do I’ll hit you later on I’ll try to get a lock smith” at this point I’m furious and don’t even want to get my hair done anymore by someone that is this unprofessional, un-reliable, un-concerned idc how good the work is I refuse to give the little money that I have to someone that doesn’t even value me as a customer. I recognize I am not important and I don’t matter and losing my business is not hurting anything for her but when I am paying for a service and have already put money down towards a service it would be nice to at least feel like the person somewhat cares and appreciates you for choosing them. While I know things sometimes happen that we can not control it’s hard to be understanding when you have experienced such unreliability three times consecutively. Needless to say this was my last time ever doing business with her. Again she is very talented and good at what she does and I wish her all the success in the world but I hope that she learns to treat her regular clients with as much respect as she does her high profile clients.
