I wanted my hair pressed with tight curls. It was falling before I even left. It seems as a customer you have to be perfect. I was declined service b...ecause I complained. So thats definantly a no no. So if you dont like how your hair turned out its best to keep it to yourself. Honestly I did not make a big deal about my hair upon leaving even though it was not even close to what I asked I was advised I had a senior student which they seem to think cant get it wrong. A Ms. Williams told me in a phone convo today that my hair was fine. But trust me. It wasnt I made a comment that I wanted the curls tight like they be when rolled. Im 76 and tight curls are easy with hot curlers and right product. The product that was put on my hair made it too soft to hold curls. It seems the young lady got her feelings hurt because I mentioned that she needed to put something on my hair curls to hold and be tight. Thats not a complaint and I was still willing to try them again. However several days after visit I received an email asking for a review which is at the first 2 sentences of this post. I even asked an instructor did I offend the student because she came over to finish and the student walked away she said no then she started using some spray stuff like sprizer on my hair. After speaking with a Ms Williams today I feel the attitudes were very unprofessional and the situation blown out of porportion. I just know things did not get to the point of me being over critical or rude. Thats just not who I am but I will say that I am a bit peeved on the extreme stance they took. Which led me to believe that their actions toward me was because of my comments. Because I know for a fact I was not unplesant in the least. But no worries I dont want to go back. Show more

Ms. Bostick it is not our policy to allow clients of ANY AGE to be rude or be insensitive to our students. Upon your arrival at this visit and a prior one you knew you were being serviced by students and that they perform to the best of their abilities. This was not your first time being an unsavory client. However, this was our first time addressing it. Let’s be honest, it wasn’t your choice not to return. You were blocked by the business more than a week ago and were unable to book another appointment. After contacting us earlier to plead your case, both instructors stood firm in their decision which brings us here; with you modifying your initial negative review to an even worse one because you didn't get the outcome you desired. When clients ALWAYS have an issue when being serviced, it’s better they go elsewhere. We hope you find that your next stylist is more satisfactory to your needs.
