I am very disappointed. She had very good reviews and was recommended. The first thing was that I was already frustrated because different people told... me to get different hair. I had already bought braiding hair that I wanted to use. Again, this stuff is not cheap. So first I told her I was going to be a few minutes late due to needing to go to the hair store to get more hair. She said that is fine and extended the time by an hour and a half due to her having something to do as well. Which is fine. Then she messaged me again to extend the time another 30 mins. Which again was fine. I show up to the appointment with the hair I want and have already paid for, and she tells me she will only use a specific brand. Now, in my head, I am like umm why does it matter what brand?" So she proceeds to tell me she wants to use the xpression brand. I explained to her I am not a fan of that hair, and it also breaks my skin out. She proceeds to tell me she will not braid with the hair I brought. She I asked if I could go get the hair she wants (hair store being 4 mins from her house). She says she is not going to wait (which is understandable). So then I asked can my fiance go and get the hair while she starts parting my hair. She said no I am not going to wait you need to reschedule. At this point I am so upset. This is my day off and I am getting married this weekend. So I asked for my deposit back due to her canceling me. She states the deposit is nonrefundable. So I am like whatever. I went to the hair store and was looking at the brand she wanted me to get. I was not a fan of the colors (again, I am not a fan of the hair either). So then I messaged her a hair I like asking if that hair was ok. She the states "Ok don’t mean to be disrespectful I told you what hair was required if you insist on getting this hair go for it but when it doesn’t come out like the picture I don’t want to be faulted. I only say that because I know exactly how you want it to come out, but go ahead and get the hair you want love. You are the customer it’s your money and your head." I then reply this."Not trying to be disrespectful either, but you just turned me away due to the hair. I understand what you are saying. It is my money and my hair. I want to like the colors that I do and not just get something because that's what the stylist wants." So then I proceeded with the appointment the next day after work at 6 pm. I get there she barely talks to me. Then, when she is done, she left these black rubber bands in. You can clearly see them. So then I sent her a message asking if those were supposed to be removed, and she read it and ignored me. Also charged me $10 extra for her rescheduling me.The style itself is ok. It was not as long as I wanted it, and the communication was terrible. So, just a warning, you all. Just make sure you read into the comments before booking. *** Update*** if you give a negative review due to your experience. She will post you on her page and let people drag you through the mud... very unprofessional... I have never had service like this before. Show more

Thank you for your review. I appreciate the feedback. Before getting to your appointment I advised you of what hair to get. You advised me then. What another person told you about the type of hair you wanted I then showed you what the style would come out like with the wrong hair. You said you understand I sent you the brand “REQUIRED” for booking. You proceeded to say ok you will get the hair. Day of appointment you said you were running late I said that’s fine because I needed to go to the hair store as well to get product. You get to your appointment and you pull out hair that you first said you’ve had and didn’t want to buy more, then you said the brand I was asking you to get breaks your back out I then advised you on the anti breakage hair in the same brand and you said ok. After rolling your eyes telling me it’s Nthng personal you just don’t like that hair brand and it’s expensive. You got to the hair store and STILL wanted to buy another brand of hair. I advised you if you want the hair get the hair and when the style does not come out to your desire or how you want I do not want to be faulted. So now it comes your appointment. You sat here and I did your hair as desired and at the end of your appointment asked did you like it and even put it in a style for you and you stated YES! I took photos and proceeded to tell you ti have a goodnight and be careful.

8/28 She did such a good job! She’s got good energy and she cares about her work!! definitely recommend and definitely coming back for another install... and braids!! Best in the game 😘 9/1 so I just wanted to update. I got my hair done on Monday and was done by 1. My hair was lifting by Tuesday night and I didn’t do anything outside or extraneous. I wrapped my hair and took care of it. I really loved this look!! Sadly by Wednesday my wig was all the way off. I reached out and she did say she would reinstall but that the money I paid was for the service I received and I had to pay 75$ to get it reinstalled… BUT because there was already a special…not necessarily because my wig was off within 48 hours…when I said okay to the 75$ I asked about a wash..she said it would be another 25$. Though she was great to talk to and I loved the work at first I’ll take my business elsewhere. It cost me 100$ for my original install and it would cost me another 100$ to get It reinstalled even though I didn’t do anything to have it come off. Really disappointed. I’m loyal to soil and thought I found my new stylist. Unfortunately things didn’t work out. I still wish her peace love and light, but this is my honest review. I hope whoever goes to her next will be satisfied and love their look! ✨blessings✨ Show more

Again. As stated in text messages. I apologize if you feel like my work did not satisfy your needs. I advised that the wig was small at your appointment. I even asked you should we sew it down in the back because you wanted to take it off and install another one soon. I take my work very serious and I’m passionate for what I do. I’m here to satisfy my clients and make them feel their best. That is why I offered a discounted price at $75 for a reinstall after you taking your braids out and wanting to come next week for an appointment. I refuse to wash the hair unless there is an additional fee paid because it takes time. Again. I hate that you feel unsettled about your hair and would love the opportunity to fix it because I know my work and my worth. Thank you for leaving your review hope to have you as a client again.
