Awful experience! Typically, when you’re running so behind, you call clients to inform them of this before they come in or offer a discount as an apol...ogy for a 2hour wait or call them to reschedule or tell them right when they get in of this delay— It’s called being transparent with your clients. They lied and told me it was going to be a 40 min wait when they knew it was going to be more time. They made no effort to hurry up or keep us informed of the status or apologize for the delay. Instead, they were annoyed we kept asking how much longer after 1.5-2 hr wait. Clearly, this shows they know how to confirm clients, but don’t know how to book services correctly for the time it takes and then they gaslight the client telling them they’re not patient and this is how it is on the weekends and why did they wait to do their hair right before Christmas? The work was fine, but not anything out of this world. Definitely overpriced and overrated for the location and the type of treatment received. The prices don’t even match the website. I didn’t even get the service I booked. My service rendered was much less than what I booked yet got charged pretty much the same amount for less time with a junior rather than master stylist. When I complained about the pricing not matching, the owner says, if I can’t afford her prices, I shouldn’t go there. Unbelievable. Never been to an American salon that charges you to blow dry your hair for a color service, but ok, I get it, here they charge $75 for blow drying. I booked this appointment to exclusively see the owner, yet after a 2 hr wait, she proceeds to tell me she doesn’t have time to see me and doesn’t even apologize and then puts me with some random stylist. She overcharges for the work done and then jets out quickly to avoid explanation and when I ask the receptionist about the prices, she is also rude and condescending and says she doesn’t do the pricing. She eventually calls the owner who tells me she did me a favor as she charged me less than what her usual prices are and that I shouldn’t go to her salon if I couldn’t afford her prices. And that I need an attitude adjustment. shameless! I don’t live in Lawrenceville and booked this exclusively as a friend had highly recommended it, but definitely not worth my time spent , the mistreatment or the drive.next time I’ll just book a salon closer that has class, is organized and has good customer service.
