As a Marine, one habit I didn’t want to lose after getting out was keeping up with my haircuts. I honestly wish I had found Ricky while I was in. The ...moment you sit in his chair, you know you’re in good hands. His attention to detail and consistency are top tier, and you can tell he takes pride in what he does. The shop itself is also a great environment. Family friendly, good music, snacks, and genuine conversation that makes you feel comfortable the entire time. Great barber, great atmosphere, and easily one of the best shops I’ve been to.

As most military members know, one of the worst parts of PCS’ing to a new duty station is trying to find a barber who actually knows how to cut a prop...er skin fade. When I first got here two years ago, I spent about a month bouncing from shop to shop and ended up with some truly rough haircuts that ruined my mood for the entire week. Then one of my Marines recommended Ricky, and two things immediately stood out: how highly he spoke of him and the fact that you can actually schedule appointments. Anyone in the military knows the struggle of walking into a packed barbershop full of Marines all trying to get cleaned up at the same time, so having the ability to lock in an appointment and keep your day moving is a huge plus. After Ricky fixed one of those previously butchered cuts, I was sold. I’ve been going to him ever since. Beyond the quality of the haircut itself, the atmosphere he’s built is what really separates this shop from the rest. It honestly feels like a place you’d want to hang out even if you weren’t getting a cut…coffee, chess, arcade games, great music, and just an overall welcoming environment. A good haircut can change your whole mindset for the week, and this shop consistently delivers both the cut and the experience. In language we all understand: “an absolute must” for a great cut and even better conversations.

Ive had a difficult time in the last 10 years finding a barber that would take the time to understand my needs. I feel most barbers are as I like to c...all "fast food" barbers. They try to get you in and out fast! I havent been to a old school barber in a while. I started to have the thought that they did not exist. Thank you Jackson for not only taking the time to understand my needs and provide a professional and lasting haircut, but confersation and atmosphere that feels genuine and inviting. a place where one can relax, be social and feel confident. again, thank you!
