I had a mixed experience at the barber shop. My originally scheduled barber was unavailable despite a confirmed appointment, which was disappointing. ...However, the substitute barber provided an excellent haircut. There were issues with pricing; I expected to pay around $15 for my beard trim but was initially charged $30 at checkout, finally agreeing to $25, viewed as $20 for the service and a $5 tip. The actual job, involving cleaning up a pre-lined beard and blending, should have only taken 15 minutes as per the Booksy site, not longer. Additionally, I disliked the artificial-looking paint used on my beard and other unnecessary add-ons. Although these did not enhance the haircut itself, I plan to return but will communicate my preferences more clearly next time to avoid any unnecessary services. Show more

Just because you’re located in the ghetto doesn’t mean you actually have to act ghetto. I gave this place several chances , but they are either incapa...ble of cutting African Americans hair. I told EVERY BARBER , DO NOT use any of the temporary black spray on my hair or beard. Every barber did the opposite and it damaged my hair. EVERY BARBER PUSHED MY HAIRLINE BACK. I’m not sure if she’s the shop owner or the only one that speaks English, i told her the barbers pushed my line back. Not only did she not respond , not only did she not even acknowledge i said a word, the coward wouldn’t even look up. Somehow she heard that i said no to leaving a tip , and yes to a receipt but not that your barbers pushed my hairline back. I guess professionally shouldn’t be expected when you’re located in the ghetto. Now if i raised hell and refused to pay for such terrible service , I’m the bad guy. Do yourself and your children a favor if you’re an African American and find somewhere else to go. $40 is a lot of money to do a terrible job and not care. Show more
