This was my first time using booksy and it was a good experience. I got medium-sized 14-inch passion twists and a blow-dry with a trim. The whole proc...ess from setting up the appointment, contacting Laid by J for details, and getting to the location was seamless. Laid by J was nice, professional, and honest. My hair was done at her home which she has converted into a makeshift salon. I’m used to getting my hair done in people’s homes so it was fine for me. It was a comfortable setup. She does have a toddler so there were some minor disruptions, but my hair was still completed early. I liked that she didn’t try to initiate a conversation with me, which gave me time to finish my work. The only things I would change would be the price of the twists and the baby interruption during shampoo time since she could only use one hand to wash my hair at one point, but I would still use her services again.
