great atmosphere, great shop space, very friendly stylist, but some of my reattached dreads are coming undone again. i booked a full head loc maintena...nce for 2 and a half hours i arrived before my start time and she was late starting my service due to another client being in already. out of about almost 20 dreads that needed repaired she only got about 8 done (i know reattachments and crochet take awhile) due to late starting and her messing around with her facebook live which ultimately ran down the little time limit i had. she touched up some of my roots but i only wanted to focus on the dreads that were falling out not my roots so that took even more time. she also gave me an unnecessary middle part in my head when my hair doesn’t naturally have a part so it looked very weird. i’m not trying to bad mouth her or her work it just ultimately was not what i wanted and i felt like she just bounced around on random places in my head and due to late starting and other distractions i wasn’t able to get the most for what i paid for i don’t think this stylist is the best for curly hair maintenance for dreads at first things were okay then i noticed the unraveling and one is almost completely broke off. she told me she usually does consultations but she had two next day books and she just took them that’s partially my fault and hers for just jumping right in and not knowing what i fully wanted doing it just for the money. very nice shop but the first impression wasnt that great. will not be coming back in the future.

Thank you for your feedback- respectfully I did repair maintenance over root maintenance as your preference, you state in the review you wanted repair at the roots. We did together pick out which ones you had previously looked at and wanted repaired more towards where the color begins. With previous chemical history and damage it took more time than expected. This is a journey of multiple appointments and I have worked with locs for years and I understand there's more repairs needing worked on. Thank you again for your feedback!

She did an amazing job with my son’s hair! Even though he was hesitant about going shorter, she took the time to make sure that was really what he wan...ted before making any cuts. She was patient, kind, and never rushed him. As a Deaf mom, I especially appreciated that she knows ASL. It made communication so much easier and allowed me to communicate directly with her without any barriers. That meant a lot to me and made the entire experience feel welcoming and inclusive. She is professional, attentive, and truly cares about her clients. We will definitely be back and highly recommend her!
