If you expect punctuality, a business that respects your time, and respects you as a customer don’t book with her. She can braid don’t get me wrong. W...ell at least the type of styles I get, she does well. But in over two years she been late to my appointments probably 80% of the time or rescheduled. Always with an excuse. But if I have a barber or stylist whose work I like I don’t tend to switch, I’ll stick it out. This time was the last straw though. Not only did I arrive for my appointment and she wasn’t there but she didn’t even say she was running late or reach out. So I text her as usual to get an eta. She says “20 mins”. 20 mins later she says she was 5 mins away and turned around because she wasn’t feeling well. Which really sounds like she never left her house when you do the math. All of which could have been communicated in the morning, if she knew she might not make it. So I ask is the appointment cancelled and she says let’s reschedule for 345. Cool. At a little after 3 I text to say are we still good for that time because I wasn’t trying to drive 30 mins only to be told I’m not there again. No answer no response until around 530. At which time she says she was at the shop waiting for me. Yet she never sent a text to ask if I was on my way. So I ask for my deposit back. She goes on to say that I cancelled and that I won’t get the deposit back. Then says she told me her phone wasn’t charging. Which was never mentioned but even if it was that’s on you as an adult and business owner to make sure you can communicate. Now she’ll probably respond and try to say it’s my fault but I’ll leave the text so people reading this can decide for themselves. Then attempted to blocked me on this app so I can’t leave a review.

I was there at 3:45 because I had a client before that. You didn’t come. My phone died and when i get my phone charged to check I see you texted so I respond and tell you I was at salon waiting for you and you get mad and say why I didn't text. We agreed to 3:45pm so I didn't think I had to check on you. I am human I didn’t feel good in the morning and I was 5 close to the salon I had to turn around because I didn't feel good. I’m just thankful for the miscommunication or you just having trust issues when I was being truthful because I pray to God not to let me do anyone's hair that has bad energy. So this is a blessing. Have a beautiful day.
