I booked last min on a Friday and was in the chair by Sunday morning. This was my first time experiencing this business. I did small waist length knot...less with a wash an blow dry. dThe parts were very neat and the braids were perfect size. I had 3people on my hair and it didn’t take them long at all. Booking this appt was smooth and easy especially with the communication from the owner. I will definitely be back and look forward to getting the same experience as I did before. Don’t pass up on the $200 special you can’t beat it anywhere.

I paid $370 for Goddess Boho/Goddess Braids, and for that price I expected the hairstyle I PAID FOR—not a halfway-done version of it. Why do I still ...have straight, exposed hair hanging from some of my braids when I specifically paid for Goddess Boho Braids? The Boho hair should have been properly incorporated and blended into EVERY braid. The excess hair wasn’t properly cut, and some of the ends were mended together in a way that looked sloppy and unfinished. If I’m paying $370, I shouldn’t have to explain how the hairstyle is supposed to look. I also paid extra for a service that was not listed online when I booked my appointment, so I added it when I arrived. There was NEVER a complaint from me about how long the service was taking or about being rushed. I simply expected to receive the complete service I paid for. Another issue is the lack of AC. Customers are not properly informed of this when booking. That is something people deserve to know BEFORE paying hundreds of dollars and sitting through a lengthy appointment. What made everything worse was management. This manager has apparently had an attitude toward me since my FIRST visit. During that appointment, he asked me to create content for the business. I declined because I was not being offered a discount or compensation for creating content. Apparently, he didn’t like being told NO, because his attitude toward me has been salty ever since. During this most recent visit, when I tried to address legitimate concerns about my hair, instead of handling it professionally, he became defensive and disrespectful. He also recorded me and posted the video without my consent. I have asked him MULTIPLE TIMES to remove it because the video is completely one-sided and does not accurately tell the story of what happened. He has refused to take it down. And despite everything, I STILL tipped each braider $20. I had an issue with the service and management, but I still showed appreciation to the women who actually worked on my hair. I have no problem paying for quality work. I have no problem tipping. I have no problem paying extra for a service when I actually receive the service I paid for. What I DO have a problem with is paying $370, receiving an incomplete hairstyle, being treated disrespectfully when I raised legitimate concerns, and then being recorded and publicly posted without my consent. It honestly feels like management has had a personal issue with me since I declined to provide free promotional content for the business. Nobody owes you free promotion. If you want customers to create content for your business, offer an incentive—but don’t treat customers differently because they decline. $370 is entirely too much money for an incomplete hairstyle and an unprofessional customer service experience. Based on MY experience, I would not recommend this establishment and I will not be returning. my hair should not look like this after 2 1/2 weeks.

Her name is Brittany and if you go to my business Instagram or TikTok @oohweebraidz you will see a video of me speaking about this rude customer on July 23, 2026 when she was in my salon disrespecting my Braiders and myself. Now she has been threatening me and harassing me for a month with continuous messages and now here she is trying to speak bad about my business with lies. I have video proof of her rudeness as well as videos of her reviewing her hair and loving it before she left our salon. To you Brittany who goes by @briveaux on instagram, I will say again stop harassing me and my business with your lies. With respect I would like to advise you to possibly seek therapy because at this point your behavior is very threatening and alarming.
