If I could give 0 stars I would. This was by far the worst experience. First she started late. I was pretty lenient with a late start because I unders...tand certain styles take more time. The first client she had was a child. She started yelling at the child because she began to cry during her service. I was super uncomfortable and I should’ve left then but my deposit was non-refundable. I came with my own products (mane choice) because it works best with my hair. During the process I explained to her the order in which to use my products and how I want my hair braided. Even showed her a picture of my hair and the style I wear. I was kind well spoken and even encouraging because I noticed she was angry with my feedback. She’s not use to feedback or direction and she’s very unprofessional. From eye rolling, service fee change, to literally pushing me in the hallway after I paid for my service. I have never had an experience like this. Being new Chicago I’m truly discouraged from interacting with any stylist on this platform. This has by far been the worst. Please do not book this lady. This young lady is highly aggressive unprofessional and flat out rude. I’ve never had to leave a bad review on a black business but she seriously needs to reevaluate her profession because hair styling isn’t for her. The braids I paid for could’ve been done better by a lobster. My hair is so dry because combined products with my products that I didn’t consent to this was a complete waste. She was so confrontational that not even halfway through my service I asked if could just leave and she refused saying she would still charge me the full amount. I paid for the service in full and reached out to Booksy to make a formal complaint. Parents do not leave your child unattended and please be prepared for pushback if you’re a new client explaining preference for hair care. She is unprofessional and untrustworthy with hair care. BEWARE. DO NOT BOOK THIS STYLIST. She has a very nasty attitude and she is highly combative. Show more

His service was started at his appointed time. I never once yelled. I projected my voice due to the fact that she was under the dryer. & she was never crying. I explained something to her that didnt concern him. My mood remained calm cool & professional before his service during his service & after his service. I did every single thing he directed me to do & let him know the price & explained to him that due to him wanting it done his way he will not receive the looks he has seen on my profolio. He continued to say how his old stylist did his hair but never even showed an example of how he actually likes his hair for me to execute. After servicing him he refused to pay the balance. I blocked the door & told him i would call the police. He said he would have me arrest because he works for the FBI. I proceeded to ask for the balance as well as calling the police. He barged out & pushed me. When the police arrive there was a report file as well as charges being pressed. Him as a man got aggressive with me verbal first when he refused to pay because it wasnt what he was use to as well as calling me out my name. I remained calm throughout all name calling & only asked for my payment. That was it that was all. He never asked to leave nor the service to stop. He allowed me to finish & at the end played mad & refused to pay the balance. I dont even service children that child is my niece. y people should mind their own business. When booking w/ me their should be some type of trust.
