- Virgin Relaxer
  
  A virgin relaxer is a chemical and must be administered only by a licensed hairstyling professional. Virgin Application Only • Apply the relaxer to the top of the strand with the applicator brush. • Apply relaxer 1⁄4 inch to 1⁄2 inch away from the scalp (distance from the scalp will be determined during hair shaft analysis) and up to the porous ends (CAUTION: DO NOT APPLY RELAXER ON THE CLIENT’S SCALP). • Apply relaxer to the underside of the strand of each subsection. • Continue applying relaxer to other sections, working your way down the sections toward the hairline until all four sections are completed. • During the last few minutes of processing, work the relaxer down close to the scalp and through the ends of the hair of each subsection beginning in the first section and then completing the other three sections using additional relaxer if necessary.

Closure maintenance

A little bummed. Saw the high ratings and was eager to check out his service for closure maintenance. Off the topic: salon was clean, atmosphere was c...hill, and he was friendly. He greeted me, asked me the goal for my closure (to lower and adjust) assured he wouldn't have an issue obtaining the goal. Cool. Waited 45mins after my appt time but chilled and worked on reading. No apologies or explanation for the wait. Next, enjoyed the pepperment steam scalp detox and double wash, dryer for about 25-30mins. Next to the chair for mouse, scalp moisturizing, 3 really tight stiches, and a gel back with no part to align with the closure. Thats it. After was told he couldn't adjust the closure bc tracks were laying over the edges of it (which is how I've always seen it done) and that he'd have to unsew parts of them to readjust the closure. But thats the job and was told it would be accomplished. I dont argue I just accept lessons. So I asked for a soft side bang (long layer). Hair was hacked and uneven. Short around the face and party in back. Lol. So in short $114 later to sit for three hours, get 3 stitches, choppy layers and no significant change from when I walked in. But he was nice. Idk it felt a little shady, mean and left a bad taste in my mouth. Photos left to right ( after salon & my fix w/ bangs) ------------- REVISED 01/14/24....Changed from a 3 star to a 1. It was remi hair with a full closure, as shown and told to you on arrival. You know and i know it. You had no problems with the hair type when mentioned nor did you refuse service, but anyway the type of hair was not even a problem for any part of the service. I also clearly wrote I added the bangs bc of the hack that happened. Anyway, the main problem was, you charged for services not rendered. Then you insult your customers when they leave an honest review, and change facts. So again, the issues were a 3.5hr for an hour service (95% wait time), booking time not honored, main service booked for was not fulfilled and still insisted on charging the full price- highly unprofessionalism. Hey, do your business as you see fit just don't expect people not to leave an honest review of their experience. Now, I will be contacting my bank. You can keep the tip. God bless! Show more

This is wild to me you booked for a closure maintenance but never once did you mention that you had synthetic hair sew in with a closure that wasnt even a real closure!!! If I’d known that I would have declined you and never serviced because one you had synthetic hair sewn in. I do not work with that at all!!! For two who gets maintenance on a synthetic sew in especially wearing it over two weeks!! When you came in I was finishing up with a client doing her makeup which you complemented on and watched so there was no need for an explanation because I had already greeted you and shook your hand told you I was finishing up with my client you said you were fine you had brought your lap top and began to work!! When you sat in my chair I totally tried to convince you to take out that synthetic hair I overly expressed to you the complications of trying to achieve your desired outcome.. that closure piece whatever your trying to call it was not an actual closure and it sat in the middle of your head already.. I did everything you stated above the peppermint steam treatment I didn’t even charge you for I felt It was necessary and also something extra for your wait!!! This is what’s upsetting me I did not do that in your picture that’s something you went home and did your self and you have the audacity to take a picture smiling like I did that your a liar and you came my way to destroy my perfect ratings on some real liar type stuff..
