    • Restorative (Keratin) Cocktail

      The keratin mask is applied to clean/ towel dried hair, then client is placed under warm dryer for 20 mins. Keratin smooths cells that overlap to form hair strands, which means more manageable hair and less frizz. This makes for hair that dries with little frizz and has a glossy, healthy look to it. Keratin can also reduce the look of split ends by temporarily bonding the hair back together. PLEASE BE ADVISED!! Rarely do I write online reviews. However when I do, it’s for exceptional services rendered. Taneka more than lives up to her reputation at Integral H...air Affair. It’s been approximately one year since I’ve had my natural hair Silk Pressed. It’s been about one year and a half since I’ve had my hair colored. Being pretty new to the Las Vegas area, I had the very unfortunate experience of having three less than professional and wholly inadequate “stylists” service my hair… to now. One overcharged and left it in a gelled mess of a ponytail. The other, located in Henderson, came recommended by a family friend. She did my hair twice. It was mediocre but passable. In short, she had very basic skills. When I reached out to her for a deep conditioning, she gave me an unprofessional response, then ignored me. And this (according to her own proclamation) coming from a ‘woman of God’. Go figure. The third stylist was closer to me. I found her online. She was to cover my gray and give me highlights. What actually happened? It left my hair a yellowish, copper colored, ultra dry mess akin to Tina Turner’s character in “Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome”. Coupled with the hard water here in Vegas, it’s been a complicated journey just to maintain moisture and basic health of my natural hair. The gray slowly began to take over and flourish. Yet all I could do was maintain moisture. I am not an experienced colorist. In short, what a nightmare. As luck would have it, a friend recently moved to Vegas and recommended Taneka. Saying she’s a ‘miracle worker’ is an understatement. Not only did she thoroughly condition my hair, she recommended a Silk Press to see the overall condition of my hair, as well as give me a new look for the holiday season. Oh, and, the ‘Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome’ color? Taneka worked with it to cover my gray and transform it into a beautiful dark brown with golden highlights. Truly amazing! Words cannot express the gratitude I feel. She is professional and personable… attentively listens with an empathetic ear… But most of all, has the skills validating over 30 years as a hair stylist. I consider her a Godsend but also a very welcome, belated Christmas gift! If you’re looking for an experienced stylist with exceptional skills, paired with a professional yet genuinely warm personality, look no further than Taneka at Integral Hair Affair.
