David gave a great haircut and also gave some advice about getting a perm. I ended up going with a loose perm ad hoc on top of the haircut appointment... which only took about 20-30 extra minutes. Place was very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend. Show more

Not only did this man give me a haircut that led me to immediately start getting compliments as soon as I left the salon, he offered me a free iPhone ...15 because during the haircut I told him about how I lost my phone a few days ago. When we exchanged numbers I texted him thank you for such an amazing experience and I was so grateful that I forgot that I had left the stove on and my kitchen started to go on fire. I told him what had happened and this man left his job and personally came to my house and personally put out the fire. What a guy! I love you David Show more

there's only a few spots in chinatown that can cut asian hair to more americanized popular styles these days even though there's tons of styling salon...s in chinatown. david is 1 of the few in chinatown that can do proper fades and knows the lingo of newer hairstyles. highly recommended. Show more

I've been living in New York City for over five years now, and finding a reliable hairstylist has been a real struggle.
