I found Twinsunisexsalon on instagram and decided to give Althea a try. I was not disappointed. Althea’s salon is aesthetically pleasing, clean, and n...eat. My hair was damaged and decided to get a pixie cut for low maintenance. I love my new cut and got plenty of comments asking who did my hair. This was my first salon experience in more than a decade and I really needed a haircut because I lost alot of my hair due to postpartum shedding. I wa...s extremely nervous for this new change and was very apprehensive prior to my appointment. When I walked in, it was very very busy; there was at least 6 women in total and the stylist was already working on a head while the other women were sitting under the dryers. I was greeted by what I assume was the assistant and she immediately asked me to go into the bathroom and remove my head scarf to provide a picture for the stylist. I will admit I felt very uncomfortable doing that and I didn't know a photo was required prior to coming in but I followed instructions and was seated to wait for my service. My appointment was scheduled for 2pm but I wasn't serviced until a quarter to 4pm because it was quite busy in there. I was amazed at Althea's work and she definitely serviced everyone that was in there one by one. When she got to me, she told me I selected the wrong service because I would need a few tracks in my hair (my natural hair is extremely fine and I lost my edges over time) so that was sorted out and she began working on me. I was very satisfied with the results and I was happy that she was able to do something to my bald head 😂 My only complaint was the time I spent at the salon. I believe I was there for about 6 hours because I left at a quarter to 8pm. Next time I'll bring snacks or a light meal while I wait because I am 4 months pregnant and the long wait was very hard on my back and feet. Otherwise I'll be booking again because she absolutely hooked me up and brought my confidence back after losing it being a first time mom. Thanks Althea! Show more

She was rude, very unpleasant. You couldn't chew gum, you couldn't work on your laptop.. She wanted a copy of your Driver License?? She didn't want y...ou on your phone ??? If she's that paranoid she needs security... Business is more than getting money, your experience is everything and it lacked personality and unnecessary roughness. Why are you charging more than half off what your bill would be upfront?? That's illegal and prices are inflated... Why are you asking for a copy of a person ID and keep it in your file .. What are you doing with that personal information?? Talented only with coarse/thicker hair. - Althea you need to reflect on the experience your new customers/,regular customers receive!! I'm not afraid to say it , your personality need to match what you put out on social media. Overpriced and Underperformed!! Personality under developed !! Show more

You booked your appointment using a fake name, all credit card transaction you must show iD And the prices is listed on the website with taxes included. Trying to destroy my reputation and business . BOOSKY will be contacted to have you banned from their website . Lawsuit will be filed.
