Everything started off well as usual until her child that she bought to work had gotten a little bored with what he had bought to preoccupy himself wi...th. It was a little nerve wrecking with him running through the shop and being curious. The beauty shop is a place where clients want to relax and feel pampered, but it was really draining for me today. I know it's not the norm, but I would have gladly rescheduled if you didn't have a babysitter. I had requested for the braids to be shoulder length, but they had gotten cut so short and uneven that it won't even fit in a decent ponytail. One of the main braids on a cornrow was cut so short to where my ear is that I'm going to have to pay someone else to fix it (even though I gave her a $45 tip due to the amount of extra time to deal with my Marley type hair). Me, as a business owner, I would have gladly fixed the problem that any of my customers have if I caused it, but it wasn't even offered. Also, the ends wouldn't seal properly, so I was left with puffy ends. I had to go back to the old school way and seal the ends with a lighter to close them (one or two of them was cut to where my hair was and I ended up burning the tip of my own hair due to where she cut the braids). There were a few other things with other appointment times, but this is the one that broke the camel's back. It was a good 6/7 month run, but I feel I have to go in a different direction as far as my continued service. Show more
