***Sisterlocks Beware*** if you have Sisterlocks and want to continue to have Sisterlocks please consider a different loctician. She combined multiple... locks without my knowledge. If I had not noticed I would have left with over half my locks combined. I have Sisterlocks because that is the style I chose to have and have been on this journey for 10 yrs with no problem. If I wanted larger locks, traditional locks, combined locks I would have asked for that, I certainly did not ask for any of it!! I completely understand if more time is needed to complete the service and I would have been perfectly willing to come back for a second appointment if time was an issue. Combining my locks to save time is absolutely unacceptable and disrespectful. I still have multiple locks in my head that she was unable to separate and remain combined, again not at all what I asked for or approved, she combined them on her own without a single word to me regarding combining them. I went there with Sisterlocks and left with something different. And to top it off I was still charged to have my hair messed up! I cannot speak for other services provided, but I would suggest you choose someone else to maintain your locks and respect your hair journey if you want to continue to have Sisterlocks. If your loctician does not know matting at the root can be caused by excessive new growth and/ or recent washing and the lock needs to be gently pulled apart, please choose someone else! If my locks were previously combined it would have been further down the lock not at the root/scalp. Show more
