Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed. I do want to clarify a few details, as the review does not fully reflect what was discussed during the appointment. The original booking was for a $60 high-top service plus the additional services selected online. Once I assessed his hair, it became clear that the requested coverage differed from a traditional high top. The braid size was also discussed before proceeding. I completed two sample braids so the size could be seen, and your son confirmed he preferred that size because he did not want the braids too small. Because the coverage, braid size, and services differed from the original booking, I explained the updated pricing before continuing. The final total was $160, including a $30 full-head trim and $15 detangling fee. The price was not a surprise at checkout, and less expensive options were discussed. Regarding the sides, I explained that their shorter length and growth pattern made them difficult to grip with the requested single-braid pattern. I also suggested an alternative technique that would better accommodate the sides as they grow. I’m genuinely sorry the experience did not meet your expectations. However, it is important for potential clients to know that the service, pricing, braid size, and limitations were discussed before proceeding. I appreciate the feedback and will use it to make my booking requirements clearer moving forward.
