Had such a great relationship with mirage. Sad thing is I needed to move my appointment to the next day and she decided it was necessary to charge me ...$25 for moving my appointment; claiming that it has 24 hours in advance. Although it wasn’t 24 it was literally 22 hours in advance. Because of 2 hours she was going to charge me an inconvenience fee and then charge me full price for my session the following day not to mention tip. I asked her to let it go since we were good friends. “no, this is a rule across the board for all clients.” I then told her if it’s that big of an issue I’d no longer be her client To which she very professionally said “I’m sorry we can’t see eye to eye on this issue. I’m going to cancel your appointment. “ I said it’s been great And that was that. Low and behold, homegirl went and took the money out of my account anyway. And when confronted, she said I owed it to her. Mind you mirage is the first person to braid my hair and except for one hiccup I’ve not strayed away from her for the two years I’ve known her. GL Mirage Ps times when I didn’t show up it was taken into account time was wasted and mirage was then payed full price to compensate. Which means there was no work done and someone still got paid. Funny how that wasn’t invluded. Demand is a strong word for someone who said please after. There’s two sides to everything though. It didn’t hit me until it was one when I was tryna pump gas and my account was over drawn. Gone bring up yo daughter, Like we all don’t have jobs and people we care about. And besides for taken out automatically the money is still not in my account. Im telling y’all. Homegirl weird. Iiii wasn’t tryna be petty but some people will make you do it. Again, sorry we could not see eye to eye. This has been an on going issue with your appointments, not a first time thing. Both late cancels and a handful of not showing up at all. I have great relationships with all of my clients but find it necessary to keep it fair to all. Regardless of a great relationship, this is a business that I use to provide for my daughter and myself. I did not push the payment through. It charges 38% of your service fee automatically when you cancel within the 24 hour frame. You then began to text me at 1 am, demanding your money back. The 24 hour frame is set to ensure a guideline of what is fair to both you as client and myself as a stylist simultaneously. The closer it gets to the appointment, the more difficult it is to rebook. There has to be a line drawn in the sand so that it is structured and fair, not obscure and chosen based on favoritism. Lastly, tips are always appreciated and never mandatory. Best of luck.
