Overall, Jessy did a great job, my hair looks very pretty and she’s clearly talented🙂. However, I want to share a few things that could be improved. ...The address confusion, don’t click the link for the address. As, when it opens to Google or Apple Maps it brings you to a different location 4-5 minutes away. I had to call several times to figure out the correct location, which unfortunately made me very late to my appointment. Would like better hand and tool hygiene as the tools were being used back and forth on other clinics throughout the service, without being washed or sanitized properly… But throughout the service some things felt very rushed. My natural hair felt like it was being ripped out and the braids are a little tight! Side note, I have really thick and long hair, which I assumed in the booking site we could do a wash and blow out as it is provided. Which I understand with the location confusion I was technically late and I apologize for that. (This is the address that I pressed that is linked into the booking website) 823 Robert St S, Suite A/C, St. Paul, MN 55107 (This is the actual address that I had to call and get for the actual location) 823 Robert Street S, West St. Paul, MN They look the same, right?! But unfortunately they’re not. First location is St. Paul Proper. Second location is West St. Paul. Yes they do run on the same street, however they’re in different jurisdictions. Like I said, I think Jessy does very good and amazing work, but I think there could be some improvements. Response to Stylist: I appreciate you taking the time to respond. However, I’d like to clarify that my review reflects my personal experience as a client. Regardless of the circumstances of my arrival, I did not feel comfortable with how my hair was handled, nor did I feel reassured about tool sanitation. For example, the same hair dryer and comb were used on me and then on another client without being sanitized in between, then back to my hair, which did not feel like safe hygiene practice to me. (Pink blow dryer and a pink rat tail comb used on the 13:30 client was then used to do my edges). I’d also like to note this is not the first time I’ve seen you respond to clients in this way. A professional response should acknowledge a client’s discomfort instead of dismissing it. My feedback was never meant to discredit your talent, but to highlight areas where I personally felt the experience could improve. Hi, I’d like to clarify a few things from your review. Your appointment was booked for 8:30am. At that exact time, I marked “ready” on my booking system. A few minutes later, you called saying you were delayed by traffic, and then again saying the address had taken you elsewhere. While no other client has experienced that issue, I still shared my live location and after several calls you arrived at 9:00am — 30 minutes late. When I began your service, your hair was still damp, tangled, and not properly blown out, which made braiding difficult. I had to carefully blow-dry it section by section. This was not “ripping out” hair, but necessary detangling. Around noon, I reminded you I had another client at 1:30. Because of your late start, your service overlapped, so I briefly paused to service them. In front of you, I opened a brand-new comb and gel. The comb used on your hair remained in your hair when I stepped away, so the claim about tool hygiene is inaccurate. You left complimenting my speed and saying your hair looked beautiful. I take pride in my professionalism, and it’s important future clients know lateness affects the entire schedule.

(Update) shop tried to say they had instructions to call the shop for same day appts but nowhere on their IG or Booksy, did it say to call for same da...y appts. Also, I didn’t book at 2:30, I booked at 2:15 and showed up at 2:40, to see the shop was empty. The appt was confirmed regardless of when I booked it. Change your bookings to need approvals if you don’t do same day approval. Scheduled an appt for 9/20 @2:45pm and appt was confirmed. Showed up and waited 45 minutes, no call no show. Tried calling the phone number multiple times but got voicemail only. Also messaged on IG, no reply. Paid deposit but braider was not at the shop. Show more

Hi sorry about your disappointmentut, but if u had read my instructionst before booking u will notice I request that u call before booking if u are doing a same day booking . U can’t book a 2:45 pm appointment at 2:30 , I might still be with another clientt that’s why I request clients call and ask first to avoid situations like this,I just text u now pls send your payment information so I can refundn your $5 deposit. The deposit is an automatic option on booksy app so I didn’t steal your money.
