The Stylist notified me only 23 minutes before my scheduled appointment that she would be running late. When I asked how long the delay might be, she ...was unable to provide even an approximate timeframe. Upon my arrival, I found two other clients being serviced. While I understand that delays can happen, the Stylist showed no apology or accountability and instead made me feel as though I was in the wrong. I booked my appointment in advance, paid my deposit, and received confirmation, so I had no reason to expect that it would take an additional hour and a half just to be seated. If not for the kindness of the other client who allowed me to get my hair cornrowed, I would have left without any service at all. Even so, I was unable to have my hair installed and had to travel without it being done. Over all , I was extremely disappointed with the Stylist’s behavior and the lack of professionalism. Show more

After booking an appointment online, I also called Marie Nicole to confirm and explained my past hair experiences, and what we could do together going... forward to improve the health of my hair. She gave me professional feedback and she is very knowledgeable and offered great advice! When I arrived to her salon suite, I noticed it was kept very clean, private, and it was also in a nice location. I was extremely impressed with the results of my hair. Everything about my experience was terrible, she accepted my appointment saying I “ booked wrong “ when I booked under the only options she has when I... got to my appointment on time she had just started a braid down for a sew in and i literally waited a hr and 15 just for her to start on my hair and raise the price $100. I asked this lady to give me a Honey blonde (27) PERMANENT and she proceeds to give me ASH BLONDE without asking or telling me what she was doing and when I tell her I don’t like it she proceeds to tell me well SHE doesn’t like doing honey blonde and that any other “black girl” I’m assuming she was talking about a provider , would give me 27 !!! So she gave me what SHE wanted to give me !!! Completely disrespectful and the rude rude she did not apologize the lack of regard for my wishes was disappointing and completely unprofessional. My appointment took 8 hrs… she was rude when talking to me about my hair the looks she gave were of PURE disgust and I’ve been natural for 7 years this is my first time ever doing permanent color and this lady made me feel like my hair was bottom of the barrel. I paid for a silk press and DID NOT get all of the services listed. DO NOT BOOK. Also my “ silk press “ did not last 24hrs a waste of $340 plain and simple. Show more
