Shaki was amazing! I told her exactly what I wanted and she over-delivered! I came to her to begin my 2nd loc journey. During our consultation, I le...t her know my lifestyle (lots of water activity), my desired size (on the thicker side), and showed her pics of my previous set of locs. On the day of my appointment, she catered my starter loc style to me and everything she has previously learned about me. She took her time trying out different sizes making sure I was happy with the direction before proceeding. She had a beautifully relaxing lavender spray she used as she did my hair and when we were finished, she styled it making sure I’d be able to maintain the integrity of my new locs as it pertained to my lifestyle. Shaki is a sweet, gentle soul. Previously, I’ve maintained my own locs. Now, I see myself becoming her regular. She knows her stuff and her own beautiful set of locs are a testament to that.
