Two-Strand Twist Trim

Shanti did a great job washing, blow drying the hair, and clipping my ends. I selected to get twist with added hair. The style was not executed prope...rly. The style should have taken 3 hours max but took 6 hours. The ends of the twist had been cut straight across and even I know that you should not do that with twisted hair. By the time, I made it home (30 minute drive) the style was unraveling. I text Shanti and I was given an appointment the next day to fix. Shanti burned the hair a little above the loose ends and started cutting again. When I bought this to Shanti's attention she was defensive with an attitude. I felt uncomfortable saying anything else to her. These twist do not look like they were done by a professional stylist...all of the twist are different sizes and not uniform. I am not happy with the style. I should have been offered a partial refund. This has been a loss and a lesson learned. Shanti should admit this was a bad job the pictures say a 1000 words. These pictures are representation of Day 1 and 2 of Shanti's work nothing else to say. Shanti is the professional not the client and should have made this right! Shanti did not own up to this unprofessional work. Pictures are not bogus and they are from June 29th at 9:00 pm when I made it home and June 30th at 1:00 pm after Shanti attempted to seal the ends by burning them. Review left on the morning of July 1. No style should look like this within this time frame. No accountability was taken by Shanti. Show more

If you had all these issues and it was such a bad job, you should’ve addressed them in the salon. You never said anything about not liking the style. If you had I would’ve offered you a re-do or discount. The only thing you said you had an issue with was that the ends of a couple had unraveled. I offered to reseal them the next day. You came in the next day and started telling me what to do and didn’t allow me to do my job. Instead of going back and forth with you I burned them as you asked and left the frayed ends. I explained the reason for cutting the frayed part but you then got up and walked out. Thats on you. Those pictures are bogus because your hair did not look like that when you left Day 2…. You will not get any money refunded!! The stylist has a name.. SHANTI…. You are disrespectful and childish. If you had all these issues again you could’ve stated that DAY 1! No need to keep editing your response. I know what your hair looked like on Day 2 and that was not it and again YOU SAID NOTHING about how it looked. Hopefully the lesson you learned was to communicate your issues at the time they happen and not behind your phone screen in the review section in an attempt to tarnish me as a professional.

My apologies that you were unhappy with the result however before we started I pointed out that it would be hard to achieve the look because of major hair loss in the front of your head. You also did not have enough of the human hair to complete your whole head. I said I could fill in the holes with the synthetic hair but you didn’t want it because you don’t like big hair. Hopefully you find what you are looking for with another stylist. Take care.
