Aw man , might I say we really admire Bryttani 🫶🏽🙌🏽 and her skills. When we came in …she and the salon is very warm and welcoming. She was setup a...nd ready to start my son and I hair. •I’m giving 3 stars because the hair work itself is great, but the overall customer experience is very stressful due to poor/ineffective communication... and rigid policies. On the plus side: •I am highly satisfied with the stylist’s ability to revitalize my locs and make a style I’m eyeballing come to life… and in a decent amount of time! On the downside: •Texting the business feels tense; any simple question about booking is immediately met with a reminder that I will lose my deposit. When I asked simple questions about their policies, the stylist would not answer my question directly and speculated I was a scammer. However, all communication went out the window when I tried to call. I left voicemails on two separate occasions to clarify confusing texts and never received a response. I also told the stylist in person about a text I found confusing, and she responded telling me she didn’t see anything confusing about it, completely minimizing my point of view. •There’s also an unfair double standard when it comes to time. Clients are held to a strict 10-minute grace period, or they forfeit their slot and deposit. Meanwhile, for both of my appointments, I arrived within the 10-minute grace period and the stylist didn’t actually start working on my hair until AFTER the grace period was over. She hadn’t been ready to start my hair during the grace period, so she should not have a strict late policy. •Customer service ultimately comes down to tone, and the energy here is quite defensive. When water went down my back at the shampoo bowl, I was told it was my fault. When I asked a question about how my gray hair would be integrated into my locs, the response was condescending rather than reassuring. •The business would really benefit from improving its phone/text communication and treating clients with a bit more respect and flexibility, rather than making them [me] feel easily discarded. That, paired with their great hair work, would make this business flourish.

Glad to hear your hair services was taken care and that you had no issues with your service! After looking up the messages with my assistant , looks like she gave you guidance but you didn’t follow the instructions she gave you. I see the same question and I see her same answer repeated in the text 3 times. Also, not to mention when she reached out to you there was no answer and she followed up by text then we didn’t get a response from you for 2 days. Then we were bombarded with questions and 5 calls once you responded days later while we were serving clients. On the day of the appointment, you called 5 more times just to asked the same question that was in the text from earlier that morning. We try to accommodate everyone but there is a point where clients become obsessive and this is why you have a review being submitted 30 days later and after the 3 appointment.
