I was unaware that you had to pay extra for a wash when getting your locs retwisted. So when she started my son’s hair, she commented on the build up ...from all the product he used over the month to maintain his locs. Instead of her contacting me or my daughter who took him and ask can we include a wash, she retwisted my son with all that buildup. It looked terrible. This caused me to have to pay for someone else to do his hair. Even if she didn’t have my number, she could have had my son to contact me. Show more

I apologize you feel this way. The services I provided are listed in a very clear order to select from. Services are not a one packed bundle deal,hence, I have it written to read my requirements before booking a service. All directions I give to follow for clients who get starter locs were all not followed and came for Retwist three weeks past the starter Retwist time.Every body loc journey is different, you can’t compare two people journey. He came in on a super booked day and yes I recommend My starter locs clients to not get a wash immediately after start of locs but rather on their third visit by then their hair would have loc’ed In better.

If I could give zero stars I would. Upon arrival, the stylist wasn’t welcoming, and did not greet us until we said something.This appointment was sche...duled for my niece who is polite always and didn’t want to complain. She hated her hair and I wasn’t happy with the results either. I am very familiar with braids as I have wore them my entire life. I booked “boho knotless braids” but the stylist insisted I booked “boho knotless bob”. I calmly communicated with the stylist about our dissatisfaction and she had an attitude. I explained to her that she was coming off aggressive and all I wanted to know is her policy if a client didn’t like her work. She ultimately decided after going back and forth with me that she would only offer half off if we decided to have her do it over. I wasn’t thrilled with paying for something that we didn’t like but also looked bad. The parts weren’t uniform ,braids were blunt cut and uneven and she wrapped the curly hair around the bottom and secured it with NAIL GLUE to keep it from unraveling!!😳 We have a wedding to go to in three days in Orlando and we are stuck with this. I shouldn’t have had to pay for this, and now I have to find an appointment and pay again. Find another braider cause this one is not it! UPDATE: 7/11/2023 This “alleged” stylist has yet to reach out to me to resolve this issue,offer a refund or apology. My niece’s hair was damaged due to the NAIL/CRAZY GLUE on the ends of her hair. It was damaged and ripped out on the ends because you can’t put anything safe on your hair to remove NAIL/CRAZY GLUE. It had to be CUT off!!!😡 Show more

I apologize you feel that way. As per your booking it states exactly what a client book, your booking stated “Smedium bob boho knotless “. After your niece sat in my chair, I asked her what she’ll like her hair and she said “just what my auntie booked. My communication with you was very clear and civil. The style took 5 1/2 hours to be completed. I volunteered to take half off the next style when I look at my available slot. The braids were longer than your niece hair. Additionally I added on curly hair as I braided, that’s the method I use. I also attached additional curly hair using a crochet needle for added volume.
