AVOID AT ALL COST! This "stylist" is rude, will burn you with the blow dryer, moves slow/ takes longer than needed, gives you tension bumps, does not ...take accountability, and is not meticulous/detailed oriented... if you want to waste time, be in pain with no solution ... book her.. ill attach images of these tension bumps after 4-5 days... both the "stylist" and owner recommended that i put oil on the tension bumps?!!!! if you've ever had a quick weave you know that oil will ruin the style/cause lifting... so is that a solution? ohh and the owner seems to think this can happen to anyone for any service... didn't offer to try to fix it or nothing... i have had braids weaves cornrows and quick weaves and this has NEVER happened. This is comical! This bad review does not reflect the $20 tip she left me! To complain about natural things that may happen while getting your hair done is insane. I take pride in my work and make a vigorous effort to completely satisfy my clients in a timely manner. I am not purposely giving my clients tension bumps. Can it happen? Yes. Do I strive for it? Absolutely not! I took accountability, apologized for her troubles and offered a solution the first time she contacted me but she refused to listen and later harassed me. She took a situation that was very small and rectifiable and made it into something big. Tension bumps are caused by the tightness of a hairstyle. To relieve the discomfort, you can apply oil to loosen up the problem area. That is the solution. I strive to satisfy any and everybody that sits in my chair! To try to tear down a small black business is sad. To threaten me by saying she will contact state board of cosmetology and hairstyling; clearly she doesn’t understand how the state board operates. I cannot and will not do any type of refund for a quick and easy fix. This customer only had one motive in mind and became highly aggressive when I didn’t tell her what she wanted to hear! Was she really looking for a solution or to create a problem? This customer is no longer welcomed back into the salon. She can enjoy her paid in FULL service PLUS tip!
