If anyone ever leaves a bad review it’s because they booked the wrong service and expected her to do something different , but not charge the price. Medium Knotless Braids

If you want an honest professional braider, DON’T come here. Cierra is untruthful, untimely, and after telling her what you want, she'll tell you what... service to get, only to inflate the price and blame you for doing what she said to do. The first time she did my child's braids, we had documented conversations she wanted "smedium" colored braids. She doesn't have "smedium" on her service list, so she stated exactly what service my daughter needed. She sent me a text message with the price for colored "smedium" braids, address, appointment time, and Zelle instructions to send payment. This was the 1st time my daughter got braids and she was satisfied. The 2nd time she went, it was also for colored "smedium" braids. Cierra started off good, but soon after they were varying sizes and sloppy. I misunderstood my child when she told me Cierra was rushing to do her hair because I assumed she was trying to go pick up her young child. What she actually said was Cierra was rushing to do her hair because her child was crying, tired, hungry and wanted to go. She can't effectively perform a 5-hour, $200+ service and tend to her young child. What child wants to be in a messy cramped small suite for hours hungry and tired. Since she likes to inform she has cameras, she can rewind to 2/4 to see how her servicing and child were that day. My child had an appt for 9am today. At 8:12am Cierra text me to see if we could come at 10am. My child's appt was originally booked from 9am to 2pm. When my child arrived, Cierra was doing a client's nails. Granted she got lost in the hallway making her a few minutes late; however, Cierra was still not ready to do her hair. When she finally started, my child called me at 10:29am to say Cierra was not doing "smedium" braids. They were bigger and not "smedium" like she wanted, or did before. She told my child I didn't book “smedium." Again, she doesn't have it on her service list, but per Cierra, to let her know before she starts, to do "smedium" braids. She had the unmitigated gall to say she never told me to book medium for "smedium" which is a BLATENT LIE. My child told her as she has twice before when starting, and she said ok. Now all of a sudden after she complains and I come back up there, she doesn't have time to do "smedium" as it "takes more time"(she had her come an hour late, and had a client schedule at 2), it's gonna cost more money. $300 for "smedium", and more money for colored hair which apparently at that moment was extra, although I provided the hair and she NEVER stated or charged for 2 colors before...deceptive practices. My child wasn't happy with the 6 sloppy braids she’d started. She came back to get braids for her party thinking they'd look like the 1st time. She gave her a pass last time for her braids not being like they were the first. She felt sorry for her child complaining she was hungry, crying, and wanting to leave. But when she comes a 3rd time expecting what she got the 1st and doesn't, her child is there again, and the price is significantly higher with added fees not informed of, that's where we drew the line. Cierra stated I had to pay her 1/2 for same day cancellation. I didn't cancel, she didn't provide the service and gave no prior notice she wouldn't. She said she didn't have time to do "smedium" braids. It made no sense to continue since my child was not getting the service Cierra confirmed with her before starting. She also agreed it made no sense to continue and waste her time. When showing her different pictures of the 1st time she did my child's hair, she kept vacillating saying those are smaller than "smedium" or those are actually larger than what I'm doing now. Crazy thing, it was multiple pictures of the same time and braids. A LITTLE ADVICE, BEFORE TELLING A CLIENT THEY'RE LYING.. CHECK AAAALL YOUR COMMUNICATIONS. EVIDENCE DOESN'T LIE, PEOPLE DO! Fortunately, a friend referred an honest and awesome braider who saved the day and made my child uberly happy. Show more

Hi there! Thank you so much for your review. I messaged you to come at 10 which you agreed too. However your daughter still walked in after 10. Your first appointment with me you texted and stated that your daughter wanted smedium braids. I gave you a price we set an appointment for her to get smedium.The next two appointments, you scheduled Medium knotless which that’s what she received. For this appointment you booked médium, Your daughter came in and asked for curly ends and smaller braids. I informed her that you booked médium she called you and told you that she wanted small. She wanted her hair like the first time”smedium”. She told me she informyou that she wanted small knotless braids(which are smaller than smedium)She kept going back and forth with smedium and small… regardless both were different than what you booked. I tried to accommodate and offer the service she wanted with curly ends the next day however the price would be different, you did not agree to the price change. Your daughter stated if she’s not able to get what she likes than she doesn’t want to get them at all. I informed you that it would be a same day cancelation fee not even including the two rows I’ve already done on her. You stated that you don’t feel comfortable paying. You and your daughter grabbed the hair and walked out. I don’t think you should have booked me again after dissatisfaction the third time. You do get what you book for at the time of appt. I have yet to receive payment.
